Gary Bray, Washington County GOP chairman, Completely Loses His e-Shit
So this guy must be new at his job and therefore a little eager to show his enthusiasm for the position. We wanted him at a 5; he punched it up to 11, grabbed his crotch, and broke off the knob. In a move that drove members of his own party to immediately distance themselves from his controversial statements, he penned an angry letter to the evil atheist liberal hacks at the Oregonian about exactly what is wrong with America. Here’s a hint: it’s me!! Let’s have a look into the genius that is Gary Bray.
Liberalism is an atheistic cult. The DNC is actually communism wrapped in their liberal religion to mask the fact they are attempting to create their utopian enslavement. The first thing Communists want is to take God out of all government institutions such as schools and government to be replaced with secularism. Secularism is an atheistic belief which replaces the Bible’s Ten Commandments and teachings of honesty and integrity with moral relativism.
You mean, replace the Ten Commandments with the Constitution. In case you haven’t noticed, the first commandment and the first amendment are mutually exclusive, and you’ve picked the wrong one as a politician. Also, you’ve apparently never read the Old Testament. Specifically, Joshua, Judges, Kings … all those acts of genocide, murder, and sexual slavery were A-OK because God told them to. Yes, moral relativism is the sole property of the secularists. Do whatever the hell you want, as long as it’s God’s will.
In a general sense, this opening just scares me a bit. I mean, here we have a politician who is so far removed from his senses that he is convinced that the Democratic Party is, in essence, The Enemy. They are conspiring to ruin the world, kill the baby Jesus, and burn all of the bibles as part of our pagan ritual to deify Michael Moore and Rachel Maddow.
After reading the letter in its entirety, I am not even remotely joking when I say that this guy needs serious professional help.
The Democrats have replaced personal morality with social morality which means to be a good person you no longer have to worry about your personal failings but your societal failings. This allows you to put the social good in front of your personal responsibilities to make yourself a good person. You can be a drug addict, leave your family in shambles or steal from your boss but, as long as you drive a Prius and are concerned about polar bears, you are a good person.
Funny, that last sentence sounds an awful lot like Christianity. You can be as much of a dick throughout your life as you like, but if you repent to God then you’re saved no matter your sins. And you can also thank the progression of secular moral philosophy, common sense, and rational discourse for society deciding long ago that is was just too barbaric to stone people for adultery, or to kill a woman on her father’s doorstep because she wasn’t a virgin on her wedding night. You think a strict, literal interpretation of the bible would deliver you from that lunacy?
They won’t accept the “myth” of creation so they have to have the scientist explain our coming to being through evolution. According to evolution the top of the evolutionary chain is man which means that the only thing superior to man is a more intelligent man or a group of men together like government or science. That should disprove their theory right there.
Gary, READ A BIOLOGY BOOK. Seriously, stop talking about things you don’t even begin to understand. You’re just embarrassing yourself with pathetic strawmen that is nothing more than read meat for conspiracy theorists and Fox News. Of course, since not many people understand evolution, it’s easy for some to think that this is really what it’s all about – just a bunch of scientists making things up because they purposely want to get rid of God. It couldn’t be the overwhelming evidence we have from fossils, geological distribution, morphological data, phylogenetics, anatomy, and so on. No, it’s just good old fashioned God Hating.
The average liberal will accept anything a scientist says since they think the scientific method is based on facts and infallible. When a scientist declares something true by consensus such as evolution or Global Warming they accept it as absolute truth. Never mind science has been wrong about similar theories such as acid rain, DDT, Spotted Owls or AIDs affecting heterosexuals they accept it without question. The liberal will accept it completely without hesitation and when someone dares to question the findings of these scientists, that person is attacked and declared a heretic or ignorant of science. The truth is science has been corrupted by politics and now is closed to competitive theories and will destroy careers of non believers.
Once again, I don’t necessarily demand that our politicians have to be scientists, but at the very least they have to understand enough about the scientific method and science as a whole to keep from making shit up on the fly without even a token regard for accuracy. NO scientist worth his salt will say that science is infallible. The scientific method is a tool that has proven itself over the centuries to be a reliable way to investigate and explain the natural world. Therefore, we have a solid trust in the process and what we develop with it – like computers, for example. Some conclusions have been wrong in the past but they are corrected and improved as we learn more. That’s how science works.
It’s also funny to hear someone yammering on about liberals accepting ideas without question … as he demands we shoehorn the Bible into public schools and believe in creationism. This is what we call “projection” in the logical fallacies biz, Gary.
While they look with sanctimonious disdain at Christians and their religious myths and intolerance to be scoffed at they will spend untold millions on frauds which have no credible proof. It takes far more faith to believe in evolution than God when you look at the extremely long odds of random evolving of our complex species yet they laugh at the idea there may be a creator. Both take large amounts of faith to fill in the gaps yet one’s is laughed at while the other is taught in every institution in the country.
No, both don’t require faith. One does, because as a Christian you demand we follow your morality and believe in your God not because of any empirical evidence but because a Bronze Age book tells you to. And, it would seem, because you can’t be bothered to understand how the complexity of life could possibly have happened … therefore God! It’s a miracle! Shit, if that’s the only criterion for making something true, I could tell you that I have it on good authority that the microprocessor in my computer is actually running on the will alone of the Sumerian warlord Gilgamesh and his roommate Elvis. True facts. Because I said so.
The reason is these institutions have agreed that evolution is true through consensus which means all gaps in the theory are ignored completely and questioning is stopped. Anybody who argues against the so called proof or evidence are declared heretics to their religion and not admitted into the church of science. This consensus tactic has been repeated throughout liberal politics to declare their ideas right and any dissention attacked.

Seriously, you may want to put a lid on your derision of evolutionary theory until you learn something – ANYTHING – about it. Otherwise you’re just going to end up being remembered as another bible thumping, anti-intellectual, anti-science, bunker-mentality creationist intent on dragging this part of the country – kicking and screaming – back into the 11th century.
And we wouldn’t want that, now, would we?
