The Fate of the Hickmans

Or is it the Hickmen?

Anyway, they’re guilty of felony manslaughter. I’m not sure what other decision there could have been, given the situation and the fact that they did nothing useful while their baby died in front of them.

I’d love to think that this will serve as a deterrent to others who would put their faith in God to save them instead of going to – or bringing their children to – a hospital for proper medical care.  Honestly, though, I think that this will only strengthen their resolve, and we’ll see more of this in the future.
