A little about me: I’m an atheist / nonbeliever / Godless heathen, meaning I don’t believe in a god or gods. I’m not going to go so far as to say there absolutely are none … but until there comes a time when the religious among us can provide evidence for one’s existence, I’m just going to hold off on making any claims one way or the other. I welcome people of all different beliefs to read about my thoughts and rantings. The only thing I ask is that you remain courteous. I have no problem with believers; it’s when some of them attempt to legislate their beliefs, force them into science classrooms, or sell them to people as healing modalities that I begin to get rather annoyed.
This blog is largely an experiment, in that it’s my first attempt to put together my thoughts on the concept of atheism, its implications, and the problems faced by our society as a result of religious indoctrination.
I will be writing about critical thinking, science articles, personal experiences, and maybe – if there is a large enough audience – have guest authors. I will also be … critiquing … videos and tracts from such literary and intellectual giants as Jack Chick and Ray Comfort.
There are a lot of atheism blogs out there and yet, you ended up here. What did you do wrong? 🙂

Getting the two to talk to each other may, in fact, require divine intervention. Seriously it can’t be this hard.
